    Salam

    Does one get the same/equal reward if one reads the Quran in English or Arabic? I read the Quran in English because I understand what is being said.

    If reading the Quran in Arabic Allah rewards you for every letter uttered in addition to pondering the meaning. Reading it in English you are rewarded for pondering the meaning.
