Bukhari Characteristics of Prayer Session 2 – Laila Nasheeba

Hadiths addressing how the fatiha is a pillar of the prayer and must be recited in every rakaat.  It is not obligatory to recite any other surats of the Quran unless one wants to.  Also the story of how when the Quran was sent down the Jinn were no longer able to listen in to the heavens.
