The Lawful and Unlawful – Striking the Balance between Work and Worship!

“It is no sin for youto seek the bounty of your Lord (during the hajj)….” (2:198)

Islam teaches that we must learn to strike the balance between worship and work. Allah wants us to enjoy the good things in life here but in turn to not allow seeking those things to cause you to not fulfil your obligations to him. On the other hand he wants us to remember him but at the same time to fulfill our obligations to ourselves and others. Thus – Strike the balance!
