The Lawful and Unlawful – Suicide and Capital Punishment

‘In the time before you, a man was wounded. His wounds troubled him so much that he took a knife and cut his wrist and bled himself to death. Thereupon Allah said, ‘My slave hurried in the matter of his life.’ therefore, he is deprived of the Garden.” (Bukhari and Muslim.)

Lecture speaks of how anyone who takes his own life dies as an unbeliever and will be in the hell fire forever. This is a sin that will never be forgiven because the person lost hope and without hope one is a non-believer. Lecture also speaks of how capital punishment is only allowed in the cases of Murder, Adultery or Apostasy.
